How we review sportsbook products.

The criteria, the scoring approach and the boundaries we set ourselves.

What a review covers

Every editorial review on this site looks at the same set of practical factors. Reviewers open the sportsbook from a UK IP address, check the live experience and the bet slip, read the most relevant terms, and write up what they actually found. We don't copy marketing material.

The six things we score

  • Market coverage. Range across UK football, racing, tennis and other common markets, plus depth of in-play.
  • Odds presentation. How prices are displayed, how clearly rule changes are flagged, and how transparent minimum-odds rules are.
  • Bet slip and tools. Bet builder behaviour, accumulator handling and cash-out reliability.
  • App and mobile use. Stability and clarity on mid-range mobile devices.
  • Payments and terms. Realistic deposit and withdrawal options, plus terms transparency.
  • Responsible gambling. Visibility of deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion links inside the account area.

How scoring works

Each factor is rated by the reviewer on its own merits. The final editorial score is an averaged view, expressed out of 10. It is an editorial opinion only — not a regulatory mark, not a guarantee, and not a prediction of any betting outcome. Scores differ deliberately: not every operator should land on the same number.

What we will not do

  • We will not claim an operator is “officially the best”.
  • We will not promise winnings, profit, value or any specific outcome.
  • We will not invent customer testimonials or fake user review counts.
  • We will not promote “no verification” or non-regulated angles.

Update cycle

Sportsbook products change. Markets are added or dropped, payment methods are updated and terms are rewritten. We revisit each reviewed product on a rolling basis and update notes when something material has changed. Where a review has been updated, the change is reflected in the published text rather than presented as a dated changelog.

Corrections

If something on the site is wrong or out of date, please tell us. Corrections are made directly in the relevant text. We don't edit reviews to remove negative observations at an operator's request.
